Crystal Palace are believed to remain interested in signing Wolves attacking midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White.

The youngster was a hit on loan at Sheffield United in the last campaign and helped the Blades reach the Championship play-offs.

According to journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter, the Eagles are ‘still keen’ on landing him this summer.

Viera latest on signings

Viera has admitted that his side are still short on numbers.

The boss believes he needs more competition and depth in his squad and wants more arrivals between now and the end of the transfer window.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he has said:

“We are quite short on numbers but we still have a couple of weeks before the end of the month.”

He also refused to be drawn on links to Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who rose up through the youth ranks with Palace.

Former Eagle finds new club

Connor Wickham has found himself a new home in the Football League.

The striker played for Crystal Palace from 2015 to 2021 and scored 11 goals in 50 games.

He has since played for Preston North End and MK Dons but has now found himself a new club with Forest Green Rovers in League One.
