They are also gearing up for life in the Europa League Conference League group stages. The South London outfit won 3-0 away at Aston Villa last time out in the league. Jean-Philippe Mateta, Marc Guehi and Ismaila Sarr got their goals at Villa Park.

Crystal Palace working on Manor Solomon deal

According to Sky Sports, Crystal Palace are ‘very confident’ of securing a loan deal for Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon. The attacker has been facing an uncertain future at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer. He spent the last campaign on loan at Leeds United in the Championship.

Solomon, 26, was a hit during his time at Elland Road and helped Daniel Farke’s side win the title and secure their return to the top flight. He was given the green light to link up with the Whites last year. The Israel international went on to make 41 appearances in all competitions and scored 10 goals, all of which came in the league.

The ex-Shakhtar Donetsk man first moved over to England in 2022 after catching the eye in Ukraine. He found the net on five occasions in 24 outings during his days on loan at Craven Cottage. He then joined Spurs on a permanent basis in 2023 and has since made six competitive outings for the North London club.

Will Manor Solomon suit Crystal Palace?

Crystal Palace will see Solomon as someone to boost their attacking department. If he joins, he would give themm more competition and depth on the wing. In addition, he would give Glanser another option to pick from.

The Eagles need as many bodies as possible as they prepare for the increased number of games that will come their way from being in Europe. They are back in action after international break with a home fixture against newly promoted Sunderland. The Black Cats have won two of their first games and seem to have adapted well to the step up in quality so far under Regis Le Bris.

"I've been only focused on this season so far and let's say two or three days [from now], we'll start talking and see what's happening. I don't know what the future holds but I can just say that I love [the fans]," he said of his future earlier this year, via the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Of clinching the title for Leeds, he said: "I can't put into words what I'm feeling right now. It's a dream come true for me to score the winning goal and to take this championship. I think throughout this season we showed that we deserve it, we deserve this trophy, we deserve to finish in the first spot and we're super happy. I'm so glad it happened."
