Crystal Palace youngster Killian Phillips has emerged on the radar of Swansea City and Bristol City ahead of the next transfer window. The Championship pair are both being linked with a summer swoop for the midfielder.

According to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page, the duo are both ‘keen’ on landing the 20-year-old. He is currently on loan at Shrewsbury Town in League One.

Crystal Palace signed him in January 2022 after he impressed during a trial spell. Prior to his move to England, he had spells in Ireland at Kilbarrack United and Drogheda United.

Phillips, 20, went away with Patrick Viera’s side for pre-season last summer and played against fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United and Liverpool in Singapore and Australia. He was then handed his first-team debut in a Carabao Cup clash against Oxford United in August.

He was given the green light to head out on loan when Shrewsbury came calling in January and has since been a hit with the Shropshire outfit. The United States-born man has made nine league appearances for Steve Cotterill’s side.

Crystal Palace have a decision to make on what to do with him when he returns to Selhurst Park amid interest from elsewhere. He is under contract until June 2024.
