Crystal Palace are reportedly one of a few clubs interested in Leeds United wing-back Cody Drameh. He is facing an uncertain long-term future at Elland Road and is the latest name to be linked with a switch to Selhurst Park ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

The Eagles see him as an ‘option’, as per TEAMtalk reporter Graeme Bailey, along with fellow Premier League clubs West Ham and Newcastle United. Championship pair Middlesbrough and Norwich City have also been mentioned as potential suitors, as have European duo Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig.

Leeds landed Drameh from Fulham back in 2020 and he has since made seven first-team appearances for the Yorkshire club. He was given the green light to head out the exit door on loan just over 12 months ago when Cardiff City came calling and he played 22 times for the Bluebirds before heading back to Elland Road.

He since found himself down the pecking order under Jesse Marsch now and they have a big decision to make on his future this winter. Crystal Palace could see him as one for the future and someone to possibly take over from current full-back options like Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward. However, there will be strong competition for his signature if they were to lure him down to South London.

Patrick Viera’s side were in friendly action yesterday and drew 0-0 with Botafogo. They face Trabzonspor and Napoli next week as they look to keep up their fitness levels.
