Hide AdPalace ‘identify’ Guehi replacement
Crystal Palace face the very real possibility of losing Marc Guehi before Friday’s deadline, with Newcastle United expected to sign the England defender on a deal worth £65million in all.
According to the Standard, Palace have already lined up a possible replacement for their star defender, considering a deal for Liverpool wantaway Joe Gomez. Gomez reportedly wants to leave Anfield in a bid to land more regular starts. Gomez will reportedly be available for between £30million and £35million.
Aguerd ‘rejects’ move
West Ham star Nayef Aguerd has reportedly rejected an offer from a European club this month. Fussball Transfers report that Wolfsburg have made an approach for Aguerd, who is out of favour with the Hammers.
Aguerd has rejected the move, though, and while he is said to be open to a move before Friday’s deadline, he is not willing to join Wolfsburg at this stage. The Morocco international has made 39 appearances for the Hammers since arriving from Rennes in 2022.
