The Eagles go into their clash versus the Whites on the back of their 2-1 home loss to Chelsea last time out.

Patrick Viera left out centre-back Andersen for that one due to a calf injury.

There is ‘some hope’ that the Denmark international will have recovered by the time Leeds come to Selhurst Park on Sunday though which would be a big boost, as detailed in a report by The Athletic.

Crystal Palace injury woes

Injuries haven’t been kind to Crystal Palace over recent times, with defenders Nathaniel Clyne and Chris Richards out of action, whilst midfielder James McArthur is also sidelined.

Andersen, 26, was missed in the heart of defence against Chelsea and is an important player to this side.

The Eagles swooped to land him last year from Lyon after he caught the eye on loan at Fulham and he has adapted to life in South London with ease.

Viera’s side have won just once in their opening seven Premier League matches of this campaign.

They sit just outside the relegation zone on goal difference and will be looking to start picking up some more wins.

Leeds go into the weekend game on the back of a 0-0 draw at home to Aston Villa and have summer signing Luis Sinisterra suspended after he was sent off.
