Crystal Palace eye Club World Cup winner to supplement squad and hand Oliver Glasner unbelievable weapon

Crystal Palace are growing increasingly confident of signing Trevoh Chalobah, even though they face competition from Aston Villa, who are reportedly also interested in the Chelsea defender. Chalobah was surprisingly left behind at Cobham as the rest of the squad travelled to America for pre-season.
To add fuel to the fire, he, Armando Broja, and Romelu Lukaku have been told to train with the academy side as the club looks to push them out of the squad and sell this summer.

Crystal Palace are currently seeing teams attempting to raid their squad for top players, with Michael Olise already sold to Bayern Munich. Newcastle are holding talks with Marc Guehi, with reports suggesting a £60million deal is close, while Tottenham continue to be linked with exciting midfielder Eberechi Eze.
According to The Telegraph, Palace are keen on the Chelsea defender, but they face competition from Unai Emery’s side, who are also looking to strengthen their squad defensively.
Chalobah has been at Chelsea since he was eight, came through the ranks, and although he missed the Champions League triumph in 2021 under Thomas Tuchel due to being out on loan, he was part of the squad that won the Club World Cup trophy the following season.

LondonWorld has been told that Chalobah is aware of the interest but is not in a hurry to decide his future, as he looks to make the right call that would benefit his career.
