Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa injury news as 7 ruled out and 1 doubt

All the latest injury news surrounding Crystal Palace and Aston Villa as they prepare to face off in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

Crystal Palace return to action on Tuesday night when they face Aston Villa in a tough-looking home clash. The Eagles are in FA Cup action this weekend, taking on Millwall, and so they will be in mid-week action, and against a top four contender no less.

Oliver Glasner’s men beat Fulham over the weekend in a statement win to move a little closer to the top half, but Tuesday’s opponents Villa got one of their own, defeating Chelsea at home to move within two points of the top four. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams ahead of the Selhurst Park clash.

Pau Torres - Out

Emery has confirmed that Torres is not quite ready, likely to return in the next few weeks.

Boubacar Kamara - Out

Kamara will remain out, with Emery having said: “Pau Torres, Amadou Onana and Boubacar Kamara are approximately two to three weeks away.”

Amadou Onana - Out

The same applies as above.

Morgan Rogers - Doubt

Rogers came off against Chelsea, and Emery has said: “He is playing a lot of minutes because physically he can do it. But today, he had a kick and was asking me to replace him. Hopefully, it’s not for a long time. Hopefully, he can play on Tuesday at Palace.”

Tyrone Mings - Out

Mings is out with a knee injury.

Chadi Riad - Out

Riad is out for the season after suffering an ACL rupture.

Cheick Doucoure - Out

Doucoure will also miss the rest of the season, with a statement confirming: “After further assessments, Cheicky needs surgery on his knee, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season. We hope [he] will return for pre-season.”

Joel Ward - Out

Ward is out with a calf strain, and there has been no fresh update on when he will be available.
