Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has provided some positive updates on the fitness of his players ahead of their Premier League game against Crystal Palace on Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
English defender Jonny Evans has played every Premier League game this season but he’s been struggling with a calf problem and will face a late fitness ahead of the game.

There is uplifting news though, with Papy Mendy now available, despite missing the 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth due to a knee injury.
Timothy Castagne, who took a hit against Bournemouth, has recovered and is now back in training ahead of the Eagles visits.
The underfire Leicester City boss said: “We’ve had a couple of players who haven’t trained so much.
“Papy Mendy and Dennis Praet have now come back in, but they haven’t trained a lot during the week.
“Jonny Evans we will have to assess before the game to see where he’s at. He’s got a tight calf.
“He’s a fantastic player and the club captain, so he’s a great leader for the team. If he’s not ready, we’ll have the players to come in.

“Apart from that, it’s been a good training week. [Castagne’s] got quite a bruised eye, but he’ll be fine.”
Crystal Palace beat Leeds United to record only their second win of the season while Leicester come into the game desperately needing a win after they lost against Bournemouth.
