Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner had already told the club that he would leave Selhurst Park upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the season but the 51-year-old could now move on from South London before the campaign is over.
Those are the fresh claims on Friday with the BBC claim that the board is considering sacking Glasner imminently. The manager did little to calm questions over his immediate future in his pre-match press conference ahead of Wolves.
When asked if he would be in charge until the end of the season, Glasner said: “I always said, and this wasn't the first press conference where I could just repeat myself. As I said, eventually you always depend on your players, and they will get all the support like always, and then we will see.
"In football, it's easy. As a manager, you will stay or be allowed to stay when the results are OK. Football is all about this and the last months, the results were not good. The performances were not consistently good and that's it."
LondonWorld looks at the current contenders the bookmakers believe could replace Glasner at Selhurst Park.
