Here’s how we rated the Arsenal players in their win over the Toffees...

Had a few saves to make and put in a confident performance. 6.

Ben White

Looked solid defensively and contributed to the attack as well. Great composure in possession. 7.


A dominant performance at the back, made some crucial interceptions and clearances. 7.

William Saliba

Strong performance from the young defender, looked comfortable on the ball and made some important tackles. 7.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Excellent display. Showed great vision with his passing and was constantly involved in Arsenal‘s attacks. 8.

Granit Xhaka

Three out of four ground duels won and 89 per cent pass accuracy. Did his job well. 7.


Showed great composure in midfield and controlled the tempo of the game before coming off at half time. 7.

Martin Odegaard

Controlled the game from midfield and created some great chances for his teammates. 7.

Leandro Trossard

Impressed once again and caused Everton’s defence some problems. Great assist for Odegaard. 7.

Bukayo Saka

Looked dangerous whenever he was on the ball and scored a magnificent first goal. 7.

Gabriel Martinelli

Scored two great goals and was arguably Man of the Match. Great energy and work rate. 8.

Thomas Partey

Made a huge impact after coming on for Jorginho at half time. Six accurate long balls, one key pass and three out of four ground duels won. 8.

Emile Smith Rowe

Came on for the final few minutes. A welcome boost for Mikel Arteta. 6.

Provided an excellent assist for Martinelli’s second goal after coming on. 7.
