Chelsea set up an another date with Liverpool at Wembley after an incisive second-half display.

Cobham graduates Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek fired Chelsea into a second Wembley final of the season.

The Blues beat Crystal Palace 2-0 on a sunny day at the home of football to claim London bragging rights, thanks to an incisive second-half display.

Chelsea will be hoping they can go one better against Liverpool in the final, after losing on penalties to the Reds in the EFL Cup earlier in the year.

After some nervy moments in the first half, when Palace had a number of chances, Thomas Tuchel’s side settled into the tie.

It was the 11th cup semi final of the German manager’s career - and he has won every single one.

Loftus-Cheek fired the Blues in front on 65 minutes, celebrating emphatically in front of Chelsea fans.

And then with 14 minutes left on the clock, England international Mount slipped the ball under Palace ‘keeper Jack Butland to seal the tie.

Both goals were scored at the Chelsea end of Wembley, sending the Blues fans into delirium.
