Why Sean Dyche was spotted at Old Trafford ahead of Everton vs Chelsea

Everton manager Sean Dyche has left no stone unturned ahead of their game against Chelsea this weekend and was spotted in the stands at Old Trafford as Chelsea took on Manchester United.

Chelsea will travel to Mersey side this weekend at the back of a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United looking to bounce back straight away, but that will not be easy with an in-form Everton side who first have to deal with Newcastle before turning attention to the west London club.

Dyche has turned turned things around at Everton and not even a 10-point deduction has weakened his team's spirit as evidenced by their win away against Nottingham Forest.

Chelsea meanwhile continues to struggle in midtable and manager Mauricio Pochettino admitted they weren't good enough to match Manchester United's intensity and Engerty in their defeat.

The Chelsea manager saw his side lose for the sixth league game already and amitted they must be better if they are to gain ground and secure European football next season.

Pochettino told reporters after the game: “They deserved the victory. They had more energy than us, maybe we were affected because we played Sunday with one less."

Chelsea went into the game having failed to win at Old Trafford since 2013 but Erik ten Hag's side were enduring their worst start to the seaosn since they were last relegated and issues of losing the dressing room dominated the healdines.

But his players showed fight and determination to secire three vitals points that eases the pressure on their Dutch manager.
