Chelsea chief 'heavily involved' in Victor Osimhen transfer as European club 'eye' Tottenham man
The Premier League season is already well underway and the summer transfer window is now fast-approaching, just days away. Both Chelsea and Tottenham scored for fun over the weekend, racking up 10 goals between them with the Blues beating Wolves 6-2 and Spurs thrashing Everton 4-0.
Chelsea will now be concentrating on their Europa Conference League qualifying second leg with Servette on Thursday night, while Tottenham can fully focus on the transfer deadline on Friday night. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding both London clubs.

Chelsea are said to be stepping up their efforts to land Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen ahead of Friday night’s deadline despite the obvious financial barrier. Napoli want around £84million for their star striker, while Osimhen is said to be against a loan move.
“Chelsea are stepping up their attempts to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli as the priority target for new striker this window,” reporter Simon Phillips wrote on his Substack site.
“What they need to do is send Behdad Eghbali to Italy with his shopping bag, just as they did with Fernandez. SPTC sources have actually heard that Eghbali IS now heavily involved in this move and is also working on it now. So that is certainly a positive. We’ve also heard that Chelsea are making one last push and have gone back in to negotiate this Osimhen move. Chelsea’s negotiators are now working on the money side of it all on the whole and if they can get this to a place that they are happy with, then Osimhen could well end up at Chelsea this week.”
Sancho ‘race’
Chelsea have been linked with a move for Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho this summer, but a move does not appear to be likely. That’s because Juventus are now leading the charge to land the Red Devils winger, according to The Athletic.

Felix is not an out and out winger but can certainly play there, as can players like Nicolas Jackson if required. Chelsea are not likely to pay Sancho’s current wages, either, making a deal unlikely.
Reguilon update
Tottenham are still working to offload Sergio Reguilon ahead of the deadline with the full-back wanting out of the club given he is not part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans. A permanent deal may be tricky to strike despite the fact Spurs will reportedly take around a third of the £32million they paid for the Spaniard.
But A Spor claim there is interest in a loan deal from Besiktas, while Tottenham may be holding out for an offer from Barcelona, with Sport saying the Blaugrana could strike late in the window to add cover at full-back. Fabrizio Romano has told The United Stand that Man Utd may be interested in re-signing Reguilon on loan, but Tottenham will prefer a permanent dea to make sure they don’t lose the Spaniard for free next summer.
