Pundit thinks Anthony Taylor made 'terrible decision' during Chelsea vs Liverpool
Chelsea saw off Liverpool in a huge last-minute win over the weekend.
One pundit believes Enzo Maresca was unfortunate to be sent off during Chelsea’s last-minute win over Liverpool. The Blues pulled off dramatic late win over the Premier League champions thanks to Estevao Willian’s back post goal that topped off an entertaining and open clash at Stamford Bridge.

The win snaps a disappointing run for Chelsea, who had lost each of their last two Premier League outings. The goal also came as a huge relief for Maresca, who showed his relief by sprinting down the sideline to join his players in their celebrations.
When he returned, Maresca was sent off for leaving his technical area, but pundit Jay Bothroyd believes that was a harsh decision. He said on Sky Sports: “I think it's a terrible decision. If Chelsea score right at the end, of course he's going to celebrate. For the referee to come over and spoil the celebrations like that, it's unbelievable.
"Sometimes you can over celebrate, but in that situation, against the champions right at the end, you should be allowed to celebrate. He's part of the team. He just ran to the corner to hug his players. Let common sense prevail."
Meanwhile, former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher defended referee Anthony Taylor. "If you are going to do it, do it big style,” Gallagher joked.
"I feel for the referee because he's hamstrung. He's got to do it and he ends up being the party pooper. He has no choice."
Caicedo on Chelsea’s big win
Speaking after the game, Chelsea star Moises Caicedo, who scored the opener, said: “It was a great feeling when Estevao scored. He is doing a great job here and we are so happy to have him here. You can see on the pitch he is so good, it’s the same in training. He is showing his quality. We try to help him because the Premier League is so difficult. He is having an impact.”
He added: “It was a great day for the club. The fans were amazing. We appreciate that because they push us and it was important for us to win the game. This is a result to build on. We showed our quality and our character on the pitch. This win can give us a lot of confidence for the rest of the season. The Premier League is so difficult and you need to be consistent. And when you beat big teams, it’s important for your confidence. We did it and we are going to keep going, step by step.”
