Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is in the final stage of agreeing a new contract at Chelsea following months of talks, LondonWorld understands.
The experienced french midfielder will sign a two year deal with an option to extend for another season depending on performance.

LondonWorld sources can confirm both Tottenham and PSG were interested in signing Kante but the former Leicester City man is keen on staying in London with his family.
Sacked Tottenham manager Antonio Conte was interested in re-uniting with Kante at Spurs but the player had already committed to staying at Chelsea and politely turned down the offer.
Chelsea reported a loss of £121 million for last season, attributed in part to government sanctions placed on former owner Roman Abramovich but they have been able to agree deals for future stars like Mykhailo Mudryk and Wesley Fofana as part of the long-term project under Todd Boehly/Clearlake Capital consortium.

Mount has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer while Edouard Mendy, once an untouchable member of the team under Thomas Tuchel, is now firmly behind Kepa Arrizabalaga with reports that he could be sold in the summer.
