The bookmakers odds on Jose Mourinho to take over at Rangers have dropped in the last 24 hours. The former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur manager is currently in charge of Turkish club Fenerbahce, who lost 3-1 to Rangers in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Scottish club - who met Spurs in the league phase a Ibrox - are seeking a new permanent manager after sacking Phillipe Clement last month. Ex-player Barry Ferguson has been placed in temporary charge. Another former Chelsea boss Rafael Benitez has also seen his price shorten. A report from the Daily Record in recent days said the ex-Liverpool and Newcastle United man was a target for the Ibrox club.
