Chelsea are prepared to snub any interest from Fulham for striker Armando Broja who is attracting interest from Marco Silva's side.

Fulham are in the market for a replacement Aleksandar Mitrovic who left for Al-Hilal in the summer with their team significantly weaker than when he was there.

Broja has proved as a viable option from the bench and scored on his first start against Fulham, he also won the penalty as Chelsea came from behind to draw 4-4 with Manchester City.

He provides a different option to the attacking and the physical target he gives the team is something that manager Mauricio Pochettino doesn't want to lose.

There are still questions over Nicolas Jackson's proficiency in front of goal and Broja will be hoping that with full fitness comes a renewed spirit to take the starting spot from the Senegal international.

He admitted to the Secret Scout YouTube channel after spending 10 months out last season: "A lot of players would get frustrated with a lack of minutes, but for me, I know I've come back from a big injury.”

Chelsea will take on Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend looking for a massive response after a 4-1 defeat to Newcastle.

The Blues manager is under huge pressure to turn things around after just four wins and five defeats in their first 13 league games of the season. The Blues have spent almost £1billion on a new squad with Pochettino tasked with getting the best out of the Premier League's youngest squad.
