The Chelsea boss told reporters at the club’s training ground in Cobham: “I think Enzo has trained really well in the last few days. He’s going to be part of the team for tomorrow. We are managing the situation also with great communication with the coaching staff.

“We are assessing the situation because yes it is true that he has suffered a problem there in the past but he is dealing well with the situation.

“First of all the most important thing is him and how he feels, like a person, you know the player. And the most important thing is how he feels at the moment. Whether he is comfortable with the situation or not.

“And we are going to always support him. It’s his decision, we are not here to force him to do anything.”
