Manchester United are preparing to submit a fresh deal for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount today as they look to get the deal across the line.
Chelsea have reduced their expected value of Mason Mount to a region of £65million but Manchester United are still expected to submit a bid lower than that.

Chelsea have already confirmed the exit of midfielder N’Golo Kante, a key part of the club’s recent success. According to a report by the Evening Standard, Manchester United will make a take-it-or-leave-it offer and threaten to walk away if Chelsea do not play ball.
Manchester United saw their first bid in the region of £40million turned down by the Blues but it has now been reported widely that Erik ten Hag’s side will now look to offer £50million with an additional five million based on add-ons.
Chelsea’s new manager Mauricio Pochettino is said to be a big fan of Mount and the club is not desperate to sell especially if the fee is not substantial.

The only challenge for the Blues when it comes to Mount is that he has only just a season left on his contract and risk leaving for free in 12 months' time.
