A whole host of lucrative transfer deals will be concluded during the summer transfer market as clubs across Europe look to strengthen their squads ahead of next season.
One potential option will be the use of the free transfer market with some eye-catching players set to leave their current clubs when their contract expires in June.
Of course, the term free transfer can be misleading because these players can demand a higher signing-on fee and weekly wage given the lack of transfer fee involved in their contract agreement.
But there are a whole host of intriguing options for clubs looking to add genuine quality to their squads including two French World Cup winners, an established Argentina international and two Champions League-winning defenders that are currently plying their trade in the Premier League.
With the help of the Transfermarkt website, LondonWorld takes a look at the ten most valuable players out of contract at the end of the current season.
