Liverpool and Manchester City will be keeping a close eye on Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham when they take on Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League tie.

The England star is yet to sign an extension at the Signal Iduna Park with the German club almost coming to terms that he will follow in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland in making a big money move to the Premier League.

Liverpool are looking to bolster their midfield this summer with the likes of Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson not getting any younger, but also in contention is Manchester City who will wait to see what the likes of Bernardo Silva and Ilkay Gundogan will do before making their move for Bellingham.

One thing is certain though, another world class performance against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tonight is likely to add some more millions on his already expensive price tag.

Bellingham has rapidly developed into one of the best midfielders in Europe and was one of the stars for England at the World Cup, scoring the opening goal against Iran.

Chelsea have spent big on World Cup winning Enzo Fernandez and with N’Golo Kante now just working his way back to full fitness, you get the feeling they might pass on Bellingham. Dortmund hold a slender 1-0 win from the first leg and will reach the next round of the Champions League if they prevent Chelsea from scoring at Stamford Bridge tonigh.

The Blues are hoping to have both Reece James, who missed the game against Leeds United at the weekend- and Christian Pulisic who has been out since January back for this one. Karim Adeyemi who scored the only goal in the first leg is also missing for the visitors.
