[But] it is always nice to share time with our fans abroad, not only in England. As a player or a manager, I have been here many times and it is always a pleasure.”

Parkinson has said of Wrexham’s US tour: “The key factors are that we’re back two weeks before the season starts. It enables us to get that jet lag out of the lads’ legs. And obviously when we’re over there the travelling is restricted because we’re on the West coast for the whole trip.”
