The infamously addictive game returned on November 8th with it’s 2022 edition, taking an even deeper dive into the world of football management, adding a shiny new data hub and an improved match engine to its already extensive take on life in the dugout.
For a bit of fun, we've fired up the newly released productivity-devastator, and sent the game three years into the future to see how Chelsea line up on the first day of the 2024/25 season.
Take a look at how the game predicts the Blues’ matchday squad will look as they prepare for a season opener against Manchester City:

5. LB: Ben Chilwell
Much like James, Chilwell is playing regularly for both club and country, and is valued anywhere up to just under £150 million. (Photo by Ryan Pierse/Getty Images) Photo: Ryan Pierse

6. MCR: Eljif Elmas
The North Macedonian arrived in West London in 2023, and is described in his in-game bio as 'truly one of world football's global superstars'. Not bad. (Photo by ROBERT ATANASOVSKI/AFP via Getty Images) Photo: ROBERT ATANASOVSKI

7. MCL: Kai Havertz
Occupying a slightly deeper role than he does currently, Havertz has evolved into an integral member of Chelsea's starting XI. (Photo by Alexander Hassenstein/Getty Images) Photo: Alexander Hassenstein

8. AMR: Francisco Conceicao
When it comes to the three who play behind the frontman, Chelsea really are spoilt for choice. Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, and a recently-signed Karim Adeyemi are all out injured, but they still have FC Porto academy product Conceicao to fill in out wide.
