It’s been a difficult, inconsistent season for Chelsea, but they have enjoyed a recent resurgence in form, beating West Ham 5-0 on Sunday. Indeed, the form table since the turn of the year has the side riding high in fourth place.
The Blues currently sit seventh in the league, and now find themselves in with a shot of European football next season as they look to make up further ground on the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle and Spurs.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been plagued by numerous injury concerns this season, with club captain Reece James enduring several months on the sidelines due to a thigh injury while the likes of Wesley Fofana, Enzo Fernandez and Carney Chukuemeka have also seen restricted pitch time.
