It was a weekend of big results in the Premier League as clubs gear up for an ever-hectic festive period in the top flight. Manchester City dropped more points as Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham Hotspur side held the Champions to a 3-3 draw in dramatic fashion while Chelsea saw off Brighton despite a late second goal from the Seagulls' striker Joao Pedro.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United boosted their top-four chase with a home win over Manchester United while Arsenal went two points clear at the top of the table by beating Wolves.
