'Here we go' - Chelsea, Man Utd and Everton beaten to bargain bagsman
Chelsea and Everton transfer target Martin Braithwaite is on the verge of completing a move to Greek side Olympiacos having left Espanyol as a free agent this summer.
That's according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who has given the story his 'here we go' treatment, pointing to official confirmation from the club coming soon.

The move comes after months of transfer links suggesting that the 33-year-old was keen on making a move to the Premier League for the first time. The striker has tasted football in the country when at Middlesbrough between 2017 and 2019, making 36 Championship appearances.
Chelsea and Manchester United had been heavily linked with a move for the player in January. The Express reported that the two top flight clubs had opened negotiations with the player in January, eyeing up a budget move.
It had been reported that Espanyol could sell the player for as little as £510,000 during the winter transfer window, bypassing a £6 million release clause, in order to cash in on the talisman before allowing him to leave as a free agent. However, that move did not come to fruition.

The striker played for Barcelona between 2020 and 2022 and has also enjoyed stints in Ligue 1 in France. The former Boro man bagged 22 goals in 39 La Liga 2 appearances for Espanyol last season as the side achieved promotion back to La Liga on the first time of asking.
