Chelsea forward Callum Hudson Odoi has been a transfer target for both Nottingham Forest and Fulham all summer.

Chelsea forward Callum Hudson Odoi is back training with the under-21s as talks continue between Nottingham Forest and Fulham.

Forest had looked set to signing him but according to a report on the Evening Standard, Fulham who started talking to him at the beginning of the summer have returned to try one more time.

Chelsea insists they want £8million for the academy product and have been determined to get a fee for him after spending more than £400million in the transfer window.

Hudson-Odoi has been back at Cobham since the first week of the transfer window but it has been made clear to him that he will have to either find a club or continue working outside the first team.

He was left out of the pre-season training in the United States and was not handed a jersey number for the season despite being on £120k-a-week wages at the club.

Hudson-Odoi was once the darling of Chelsea fans and his contract renewal made him one of the highest earning youngsters at the club reflecting his standing at the club at the time.

He was knocking on the England door before an unfortunate ankle injury stopped his progress and has seen his consistent game time at club level drastically reduce.

Both Fulham and Nottingham Forest have shown consistent interest and Hudson-Odoi now faces a dilemma regarding which club to choose. He has agreed personal terms at Craven Cottage but Forest are led by his former England youth coach Steve Cooper.

With just 48 hours to the end of the transfer window, this continues to be one transfer that Chelsea fans will have to keep an eye out on.
