Fabrizio Romano says Aston Villa could complete another Chelsea transfer after Axel Disasi
Chelsea could end up offloading two players to the same Premier League rival with talks ongoing over possible deals. The Blues are expected to sell or loan a number of players before the winter deadline closes on Monday night.
There are a handful of players who are struggling for game time, and Maresca has made it clear he won’t stand in their way of departing, at least not in the case of the majority of players, including Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka and others.

The defender has attracted interest from Aston Villa this month, and it’s claimed he has already agreed to join the Midlands club, even speaking with Unai Emery directly, but nothing has been agreed between the two clubs.
And while those talks continue, Villa are also said to be interested in Joao Felix, who has struggled to convince since arriving on a big-money deal from Atletico Madrid in the summer. Providing an update on the two situations, Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Aston Villa and Chelsea have spent the day again today speaking. Axel Disasi, who said yes to Aston Villa, spoke to Unai Emery. But let's see if Chelsea can reach an agreement with Aston Villa.
“And then Joao Felix. Joao Felix remains the dream target for Unai Emery. I told you many times. Unai Emery is obsessed with this one. So if today, tomorrow, in two days, in three days, on Monday, Chelsea decide to open the door to the exit of Joao Felix, Aston Villa for sure will try. For sure, they will try to make it happen.
“Because Unai Emery is in love with the player. And also those close to the player believe that Unai Emery could finally be the right coach to trust him, to play him consistently and show the excellent quality of Joao Felix. But, again, it's not guaranteed. Because we have to wait and see what happens now with Nkunku. We have to wait and see what happens with Joao.”
