Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is under huge pressure going into the game against Everton and has made four changes to the team that lost 2-1 to Manchester United at Old Trafford in midweek.
They have only won five of their 15 league games and have conceded in each of their last eight, risking dropping out of the top half of the league table if they fail to get anything from Merseyside today. Injuries to key players like Christopher Nkunku, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana and Carney Chukwuemeka haven't helped, but there is a feeling within the supporters that there is still enough there to be doing better than they have.
Everton have their tails up having beaten Nottingham Forest and Newcastle, Sean Dyche's team is looking for their third consecutive win for the first time since the days of Carlo Ancelotti in March 2021.
Chelsea did win at Goodison last season, but they have not won back-to-back games there in the last 15 years and will have to be incredibly determined, focused and tactically brilliant to take all three points. The west London club have also won just one of their last eight Premier League away fixtures played on a Sunday, beating Aston Villa 2-0 last season.
Pochettino has seen Brighton, Newcastle, Arsenal and Brentford drop points in the hunt for European football next season, so this is a perfect opportunity to gain ground and restore some confidence in his team.
So with all that in mind, this is the team he's put out for the game.
