Charlie Morgan who made the headlines in 2013 for being kicked by then Chelsea star Eden Hazard is now worth an astonishing £ 40million according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

His wealth though has nothing to do with football as he now owns the multi-million Au Vodka company, with his drinks being enjoyed by Ronaldinho and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, amongst others.

But back in 2013, aged just 16 he was one of the ball boys for the second leg League Cup game between Swansea and Chelsea, with the Blues trailing 2-0 and having just 10 minutes left to salvage the game.

The ball went into touch and Eden Hazard felt the ball boy was wasting time by lying on the ball to prevent the Chelsea star from taking a corner.

The Belgian forward reacted by appearing to kick the ball which got him sent off.

Swansea would go on to win the game and then win the final at Wembley against Bradford while Charlie Morgan would be widely celebrated in Swansea and less so in west London.

The incident gave him wider publicity but it appears he is doing just fine without being involved with football.

He is now the CEO of one of the best performing Vodka companies and has just been named in the Times Rich List for this year at the age of 26.

His business has received wide endorsement from football stars and movie celebrities even though his net worth is still way off the now Real Madrid star, Eden Hazard.

His success in business has been celebrated also in Wales and proof that not all will make it in football- but there are still opportunities to make yourself proud in other aspects of life.
