Confirmed Chelsea XI vs Everton as two changes made and £38.5m star misses out for the first time this season

Chelsea are unbeaten at Stamford Bridge in the league this year and will look to continue that.

Chelsea defender Axel Disasi who was signed from Monaco for £38.5million will miss the game against  Everton tonight after picking up a knock and missing training all week. He joins Enzo Fernandez who will also not be involved tonight due to discomfort.

Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be missing at least 11 players with Raheem Sterling calling in sick earlier in the week. Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez also missed training and the duo add to the likes of Reece James, Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia who have all been ruled out for long stretches.

This has been a challenging campaign for the Blues, with unending injuries but they could still finish with a flourish if they can beat Everton tonight, then go see off Manchester City to reach the final of the FA Cup this weekend.

But for now, all attention will be on tonight’s game at Stamford Bridge with the Blues looking for a win that keeps them in check with Europe even if it's the Conference League.

Everton have been hit with another fresh points deduction and their Premier League survival is on the line. They have struggled recently even though they got a win against Burnley just before this game so they should be pumped up.

Chelsea are massive favourites to take all three points, but there have been games when they are favourites and just find ways to complicate things for themselves, so with that in mind- this is the team Pochettino has named for the game.
