Confirmed Chelsea injury list and predicted XI vs Arsenal as wild Reece James call made

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has a tough call to make with Reece James, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto all available.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking for his first big win against a title-chasing side when he welcomes Mikel Arteta's side to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Chelsea are guaranteed to be without all of Wesley Fofana (knee), Christopher Nkunku (knee), Ben Chilwell (thigh), Romeo Lavia (ankle), Trevoh Chalobah (thigh) and Carney Chukwuemeka (knee) for the visit of Arsenal, and Pochettino is also sweating over the fitness of several doubts.

There is hope that Nicolas Jackson (wrist) and captain Reece James - who has been pictured in training amid reports of a setback - will be in contention. Still, even if the latter is not deemed ready, Malo Gusto is back from a domestic ban to deputise on the right-hand side.

But despite the challenges both teams have in injuries, Mikel Arteta believes Chelsea is improving and will be there: He told the press. "It's happening quickly, they deserve much more in terms of points. You can see they will be up there."

The Arsenal manager also added that his star forward Bukayo Saka wants to be involved tomorrow despite missing the international break due to injuries.

He added: "The feeling is that he wants to be involved but at this point, there is nothing I can say so let's see."

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will be speaking to the press shortly but this is how we predict he will set up his team for tomorrow's game.
