Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia, Noni Madueke: Chelsea injury news and expected return dates

Chelsea have nine injured players and one suspension going into the game against Manchester United but they welcome Reece James and Marc Cucurella after the weekend.

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed both Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia will again miss their trip to Old Trafford tomorrow night.

The Chelsea manager also provided further updates of Noni Madueke and Lesley Ugochukwu who have been added to the injury list ahead of the game.

Conor Gallagher will also be missing the game having been sent off against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, making a total of 10 players missing ahead of their trip to take on Erik ten Hag's side.

On the latest update on Nkunku and Lavia he said: "No. Hope so. He is not involved tomorrow.

"I think it is like we always tell you, it's about assessing day by day. Sometimes we get excited and we want to have the player as soon as possible but I think we need to be careful.

"Romeo is doing well but he's not going to be involved the same as Nkunku."

On Lesley Ugochukwu and Noni Madueke he added: "Lesley feels something this week, Noni after Brighton also, minor problems hope that soon they will be available for the team."

So with everything that has been said, below is the full injury list and expected return dates for the squad.
