Chelsea manager Graham Potter has come under pressure after his team’s desperately poor performance against Manchester City in the FA Cup over the weekend.
Unlike their game in the Premier League, Chelsea folded at the Etihad, conceding four unanswered goals to a Manchester City side who didn’t look like they were breaking a sweat.
Graham Potter has only two wins in his last eight games in all competitions and he will have to get a response against Fulham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Both games are winnable even though recent performances suggest they will be testing.
Graham Potter has been quick to point to the growing injury list that seems to have gotten worse by the day since he took over. Reece James and Wesley Fofana are just two of the names that will be out for a considerable amount of time.
Chelsea have as many as eleven players out, with top scorer Raheem Sterling lasting just six minutes against Manchester City on Thursday night before giving way to Aubameyang.
Reece James, who is considered by many to be the best player at the club, tried to return ahead of time - and the consequence of that is he’ll have to sit out the whole of January after feeling pain in the same knee.
Below is the list of the current Chelsea team who, when fit, could easily transform the club from mid-table to a Premier League challenging side.
