After a poor start to the 2023/24 season, Chelsea eventually began to find their rhythm under Mauricio Pochettino with the Argentinian boss guiding them to a sixth place finish.
The Blues were unbeaten in their final six fixtures, winning five of them, and they are now guaranteed a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League. However, if Manchester City beat Manchester United in the upcoming FA Cup final, the Stamford Bridge side will enjoy a place in the Europa League.
With the summer transfer window pending, attention will turn to how Chelsea can further boost their squad. But, the Blues must first address any potential Financial Fair Play concerns as their deadline looms.
While Pochettino, Todd Boehly and the Chelsea board turn their focus to balancing the books, here is how Football Manager predicts the Blues’s transfer window to go...

1. IN - Marten de Roon
The defensive midfielder would be a £9m move from Atalanta. The ex-Middlesbrough star has made 30 Serie A appearances for Atalanta this season but will be unable to help them in the Europa League final after suffering a knee injury in the Coppa Italia final. | Getty Images

2. OUT - Malang Sarr
Sarr is set for a £5.5m move to Juventus. He has not made a Premier League appearance for the Blues since 2022 but recently underwent surgery which should see him recovered enough to take part in pre-season training. | Getty Images

3. IN - Christian Eriksen
The Danish footballer has made 22 appearances in the Premier League for Manchester United this season and is predicted to make a £17m move to Stamford Bridge. Recent suggestions, however, indicate Eriksen could make up part of a deal that sees him return to Brentford. | Manchester United via Getty Imag

4. OUT - Alfie Gilchrist
The 20-year-old academy star Gilchrist is predicted to make a £500k move to Premier League hopefuls Southampton. Gilchrist scored his first Blues goal in Chelsea's 6-0 win over Everton and signed an extension that should see him remain at the club until 2026. | Getty Images
