The seven Chelsea players who will miss Liverpool League Cup final amid Thiago Silva boost
Mauricio Pochettino's Chelsea squad will be missing seven players after they checked into the hotel at Wembley last night ahead of the League Cup final against Liverpool, LondonWorld can confirm.

Hide AdCaptain Reece James, Benoit Badiashile, Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Carney Chukwuemeka, Romeo Lavia and Lesley Ugochukwu will all miss the final at Wembley later today, but there is good news as Thiago Silva is likely to be involved.
The Brazilian missed the Manchester City game after picking up a groin injury at Crystal Palace, but he's somewhat recovered earlier than anticipated and will be in the squad today.
Liverpool also have their injury issues with regular starters Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones all sidelined but they are likely to also have Mohamed Salah who missed the win against Luton Town just about being fit enough.

Hide AdAssistant manager Pep Lijnders confirmed they had to decide after ther final training session. He told reporters: "It's important for us to use each minute, use each day to really look how the players are.
"This is for Mo, Dom and Darwin. Two training sessions to go, let's see how they are and then we can make a decision in the last minute."
Chelsea have lost their last five finals at Wembley including the last two against the Reds- but this Chelsea side have proven that they can turn up in one-off games, and they're desperate to win their first trophy under Pochettino.
Chelsea's last domestic silverware was the 2018 FA Cup, although they have since won four international honours.
