Chelsea are sweating over the fitness of Benoit Badiashile after he was forced off in the 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup. The French defender impressed hugely but suffered the injury blow late in the game.
Moises Caicedo who enjoyed his best game for Chelsea at Villa Park also felt some discomfort and those two add to the likes of Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James and Marc Cucurella. This season has been incredibly challenging for manager Mauricio Pochettino but large parts have been down to just injuries.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino confirmed Trevoh Chalobah who has not played this season was close to returning recently. He told reporters: "The other good news is that Trevoh has rejoined the team, he is not ready yet but he is very close and we will monitor him in the coming days."
Chelsea produced their best performance of the season to seal progression to the next round of the FA Cup and now the next target will be to improve their league form and win the League Cup against Liverpool later this month.
Crystal Palace are desperate for a win and the game at Selhurst will be intense and defined by the finest of margins, so Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to have some of his injured stars involved.
So with that in mind, here is the list of Chelsea stars and their potential return dates:
