Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur: How to buy tickets for historic Stamford Bridge clash

Chelsea Women are aiming to break their attendance record with a Women’s Super League clash against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues hoped to ride the wave of Euro 2022 fever by playing their WSL curtain-raiser in an historic 40,341-seater venue on the opening day of the season.

Millie Bright’s face was all over the covers of newspapers across London as Emma Haye’s side attracted new fans and old supporters alike following the triumph of the Lionesses this summer.

But the death of Her Majesty the Queen put paid to the Blues’ exciting plans as fixtures all over the country were postponed as the nation entered a period of mourning.

Now, though, the fixture has been rescheduled, with Stamford Bridge primed to host thousands of WSL fans for an all-London clash next month.

The north London derby drew a whopping 47,367 fans to the Emirates in September - can Chelsea’s Spurs game beat their club-record crowd of 24,564, set when the teams last met in SW6 in 2019?

When is the game?

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur will kick off at 1pm on Sunday 20 November.
