Last season Callum played 15 games for Chelsea, but was injured for the last part of the campaign and since his return hasn’t had a look in in the first four games so far.
He was on the bench for Chelsea’s gutsy win over over Leicester where they played half of the game a man down after Conor Gallagher was sent off in the first half for a sinical challenge.

In 2019, Bayern Munich submitted a bid to sign Callum on a permanent contract but Chelsea turned it down and offered him a long-term deal, but he’s not really hit the heights expected due to injuries and form.
The move to Bayer Leverkusen was on the verge of collapsing after complications on how much Chelsea would contribute to his £ 120,000-a-week wages came up, but both parties found a compromise and he is now expected to be announced in the next 24 hours.
Thomas Tuchel is looking to bring in fresh blood and clearing the desk to make room for the arrival of his targets is high on the list.
