Chelsea are busy preparing for the start of the new Premier League season.

The Blues have sealed off their pre-season work now and all eyes are on their opening day clash away at Everton.

Goalkeeper on his way out?

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga may well be heading out the exit door.

The stopper has fallen out of favour over recent times and a departure is potentially on the cards now.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Spaniard is having a ‘meeting’ over a possible switch to Italian side Napoli (see tweet below):

Defender latest

Malang Sarr is reportedly wanted by AS Monaco.

The defender made the move to Stamford Bridge in 2020 from OCG Nice and has since made 20 appearances for them in all competitions, as well as having a loan spell away at FC Porto.

As per reporter Santi Aouna, he is wanted back in France now with Monaco keen.

Striker in transfer talks

Timo Werner is said to have held discussions over a return to RB Leipzig.

The Germany international, who has been linked with fellow Premier League side Newcastle United this summer, has struggled to make an impact since making the move to England in 2020.

He only managed four goals in the league last term, two less than what he got in his first year.

BBC Sport report he has had ‘talks’ with his former club over move back to the Bundesliga.
