Hide AdFofana compromise found
Chelsea may have saved the David Datro Fofana deal after all, with early reports on Wednesday claiming talks with AEK Athens had broken down ahead of the Greek window slamming shut. According to a fresh report from Nizaar Kinsella, the two clubs have now reached a compromise in talks.
It’s reported that the two clubs have agreed on a loan deal that will give Athens the option to make the deal permanent next summer for £20million. The option, however, is not mandatory. Fofana was training separately from the main Chelsea squad.
Leboeuf transfer criticism
Frank Leboeuf has criticised the signings of Jadon Sancho and Joao Felix, who have both encountered problems elsewhere. He told ESPN: “Sancho and Felix, I’m not sure many clubs wanted them.
“And surprisingly, it’s only Chelsea who got them. That’s insane. Joao Felix until 2031. How come? We have seen him playing. I don’t need data for that. I don’t understand half of the signings that we see. Those people are just ruining Chelsea Football Club.”

Hide AdScouts watch Ricci
Tottenham are said to have sent scouts to watch Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci as they weigh up a possible move. According to HITC, Spurs scouts were present for Ricci’s appearance for Italy over the break.
Ricci could be available for around £25million, but still only 23 years of age, Torino could play hardball, especially in the January transfer window. He is a strong holding midfielder who has been likened to Manchester City’s superstar midfielder Rodri.
