Chelsea suffer potential blow as Manchester City confirm significant injury boost ahead of FA Cup game

Manchester City defender who can blow your mind has recovered from injury and is involved in the Champions League.

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker who had been a doubt for the FA Cup game against Chelsea this weekend has recovered and is captaining his side against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Walker is one of the fastest players in the world and armed with experience having won multiple trophies with the Citizens. When on form, there is no doubt that he’s one of the best full-backs in the game and the fact that he’s fit enough to start against Madrid makes him ready for the weekend’s Cup game.

Chelsea have their own injury issues with Raheem Sterling, Enzo Fernandez and Axel Disasi all doubts after missing the 6-0 win against Everton on Monday night. The game is season-defining for Chelsea who are looking for a trophy and a route to Europe after a challenging league season.

This is the second time Chelsea are heading to Wembley this season after losing the League Cup to Liverpool in February. There is a feeling that the League Cup defeat was a missed opportunity with defender Malo Guso telling LondonWorld that they want to make up for it.

He said: “Yeah we know we were in Wembley earlier on and we feel that we have some kind of revenge to go and make up for that.”

Manchester City are the holders of the FA Cup having won the treble last season. Chelsea have an undisrupted week to prepare for the game while Manchester City have a game against Real Madrid with little room for an off day.
