Chelsea have suffered an injury blow ahead of their clash with Bournemouth with number two goalkeeper and summer signing Filip Jorgensen picking up an injury during his outing for Denmark under-21s on Wednesday night.
Denmark under-21s boss Steffen Hojer said after the game: “He’s being checked. I just asked if he was okay. He was annoyed, but hopefully it is not something that is really wrong."
Fofana admission
Wesley Fofana has revealed that he had an offer to leave Chelsea in the summer, instead deciding to stay and fight for his place after injury issues over the last couple of seasons. "I had a call that really touched me," he told FreeFoot. "I'd be lying if I said I hadn't considered it. It was Mehdi Benatia, from Olympique Marseille, the sporting director. It certainly touched me. I think everyone knows why and I had a thought.
"But at the moment, my objective is to succeed at Chelsea, to try and win games, to establish myself at my club. After that, Marseille, we'll see one day. I still have a contract until 2029. We'll see after that. I've never hidden anything. It's my city, it's my club, I'm a Marseille supporter. If it turns out to be the case, in a few years I'll be at Marseille and if it turns out to be the case, I could spend my entire career at Chelsea. So we'll see."

Sergio Reguilon faces an interesting couple of days amid reported interest from Fenerbahce. According to GiveMeSport, if the Spaniard does not seal an exit before the end of the Turkish deadline on Friday, he could be left out of Ange Postecoglou’s 25-man Premier League squad.
If Reguilon is exiled from the squad, he will not be eligible to represent the Spurs first team until at least January. Postecoglou does not see the full-back in his plans, according to the report, and there will now be a rush for him to try to leave the club.
