The German was signed for £47.5million in 2020, however has had an underwhelming time in south-west London.

He’s scored 23 goals in 89 games, which was a disappointing return, after scoring two in every three games for RB Leipzig.

Werner has been linked to Newcastle United, but now it is thought Chelsea are offering the German up to Real Madrid.

The Blues have also let record signing Romelu Lukaku leave for Inter Milan because he did not want to be there and will do the same for any of the players.

They have already signed Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling as a replacement and with the transfer window still four weeks to go, the Blues will find a replacement for every departing player.
