Chelsea predicted starting XI vs Burnley: Raheem Sterling starts but £107m star is dropped in 4-3-3 system

Chelsea have lost Robert Sanchez and Trevoh Chalobah to injury with Ben Chilwell a huge doubt.

Chelsea should be able to call on Malo Gusto who returned to Cobham during the international break with a virus. He's trained and is likely to retain his right-back position when Chelsea host Burnley this weekend.

Mauricio Pochettino also confirmed he had been dealt another massive injury blow with Romeo Lavia ruled out for the rest of the season following a another setback. He adds to Wesley Fofana who suffered a knee injury earlier in the season and won't play again.

Reece James, Carney Chukwuemeka, Trevoh Chalobah and Robert Sanchez are all ruled out of this game with the Chelsea captain yet to kick a ball this year following hamstring surgery.

The Blues are 11th on the league table and are massive favourites to go on and win this one to improve their chances of securing European football next season. They have also reached the semi-final of the FA Cup where they will take on Manchester City, so that could be another option to secure European football.

Their weekend opponent Burnley have struggled despite the promise they showed when they blew teams away in the Championship. Vincent Kompany's side have won only four league games and losing a disappointing 20 games.

They are high on the list of most fans to go down alongside Sheffield United, so anything but all three points for Pochettino's side will be viewed as a massive letdown.

The Chelsea boss is aware he needs to improve performance, especially in the league to keep a disgruntled fanbase off his back. So with that in mind, here is the team the Chelsea manager is likely to name for the game tomorrow.
