Chelsea's in-demand youngster Levi Colwill put up another exceptional performance in the 4-3 win over Brighton on Saturday night.

The 20-year-old is wanted by ironically Brighton after impressing Roberto De Zerbi, Liverpool have also shown interest while Chelsea have maintained he is not for sale or even an option to go out on loan again after more than excelling heavily last season.

His performance against the team that has been chasing in Philadelphia further strengthened the conviction that he is ready to play a vital role next season- especially given the injury to Wesley Fofana and Benoît Badiashile.

Chelsea want Caicedo and view the Ecuador international as the missing link in their midfield this season- but the Blues have been adamant they will only do business if it's a £100million fee or at least throw in Colwill in the deal.

Chelsea fans on social media have also made it clear that they see the 20-year-old as a member of the first team and despite craving for Caicedo, will not want him to be included in any kind of deal for the midfielder.

His exceptional long balls kept releasing Ben Chilwell down the left and caused problems for his former loan club in the 4-3 win and that will be key going forward if Chelsea are to excel next season.

Colwill was also competent defensively and even got on the end of a cross to threaten Jason Steele’s goal, he did, however, give away a penalty which will need to be worked on, but at just 20 years, you would not expect that every aspect of his game to be polished.
