Chelsea are reportedly targeting a move for Palmeiras ace Endrick Felipe. The 16-year-old is a bright young prospect and is being tipped for a big future in the game.

According to ESPN, the Blues are ‘following’ his progress over in South America ahead of a potential future swoop. The report adds that French giants PSG have seen an offer rejected for him as they look to lure him over to France.

Graham Potter could see the teenager as a decent long-term option as he plans for the next few years in charge at Stamford Bridge after his switch from Brighton and Hove Albion earlier in this campaign. The striker is already playing first-team football and Palmeiras will face a battle to keep hold of him amid interest from Europe.

Endrick has been on the books at Allianz Parque since the age of 11 and has risen up through the academy of the Serie A outfit. He was a regular at various youth levels before he was handed his senior debut last month, becoming the youngest ever player in the club’s history in the process.

He has since made headlines after scoring three goals in his first six games and is causing a stir. He would be an exciting addition for Chelsea if they won the race for his signature but there will no doubt be competition with the next transfer window opening in January.
