Chelsea's Premier League rivals 'plotting' bid for player Enzo Maresca has 'no plan' for
Chelsea could be offered an option to offload a player who has struggled for minutes since arriving in the summer. The Blues are likely to field more outgoings than incomings during the January transfer window, although Enzo Maresca could dip into the market to sign a centre-back.
A striker deal has also been mooted, but Chelsea are unlikely to spend big money on a front man unless they are presented with a particularly eye-catching opportunity. As for outgoings, there are likely to be a handful, with Carney Chukwuemeka and Ben Chilwell on the transfer list.

There is also a question mark over Christopher Nkunku’s future, and the same can be said of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has struggled to break into Maresca’s Premier League plans, largely getting his game time in the Conference League and the cup competitions.
Dewsbury-Hall joined Chelsea for as much as £30million in the summer, following Maresca from Leicester, but he has not looked of sufficient quality compared to some of his teammates. That has led to talk of a loan move, with clubs unlikely to match the £30million Chelsea paid for the midfielder at this stage.
Football Insider say West Ham could offer a solution as far as a loan move goes, with the Hammers reportedly ‘plotting’ a loan move with the option to buy. It’s claimed Dewsbury-Hall has emerged as a primary target for the Hammers, and an offer could be just around the corner.
Chelsea are said to be open to a deal, but any option to buy would likely have to offer them an avenue to reclaiming the majority - if not all - of the £30million they paid for the midfielder.

Maresca is a big fan of Dewsbury-Hall, but he has been unable to give him game time due to the quality he has elsewhere in midfield. Asked about the midfielder’s future in recent days, the Chelsea boss said: “He is our player and he has a future with us. When you want to send players on loan, or bring players in, it has to work for all sides. At this moment there is no plan for Kiernan. For sure he has to (fight for his future) and I know him quite well. He is going to do that.”
Interestingly, though, Maresca said back in December: "Unfortunately, I cannot say that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is not for sale. Not only him, but the whole squad. When the window is open, anything can happen."
