Chelsea predicted XI vs Liverpool as Mauricio Pochettino confirms £52m star is fit and will be involved

The Blues will welcome Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto back to their squad ahead of the Liverpool game.

Chelsea will travel to Liverpool tomorrow night, looking for three points that will help them move closer to a European spot by the end of the campaign.

Mauricio Pochettino's side will be missing eight players for the trip to Merseyside. However, they will have French duo Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto available after they returned to training this week.

Blues boss Pochettino confirmed the return of the duo to reporters ahead of the game at Anfield:

"I think it's good news that Malo Gusto and Christopher can be in the squad tomorrow. We will see. We are always waiting for the last moment. At the moment, it's good news."

English defender Levi Colwill will sit this one out after picking up a tendon injury during the warm-up ahead of the Aston Villa game on Friday night. Reece James, Marc Cucurella, Robert Sanchez, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Romeo Lavia are out injured.

Chelsea has only lost two of their last 10 games, and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted to the press ahead of the game that he expected the west London club to make giant strides in the second half of the season.

Klopp, who will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, said:

"They had a lot of injuries, but now they have a core group together. They have the midfield they want together, the entire back-line other than Reece James. A really good team, even if you can't see it in the table yet. I expect them to make big steps, but it will start after our game."

So, with both managers looking for important three points, here is the team we anticipate Pochettino will put out.
